Enrollment Verification

What is enrollment verification and why do I need it?

Certain companies, such as health insurance agencies, credit issuers, or housing providers may require you to prove you are a full-time student in order to qualify for some kind of benefit or discount.

ACU works with the National Student Clearinghouse to provide proof of enrollment on-line at no charge to you.

Here's what the National Student Clearinghouse web site can provide to you:

          • A printed Enrollment Certificate which can be sent to health insurers, credit issuers,
housing providers, or any other agency which may request this information

          • Information about enrollment verifications that have been sent to businesses or other
             service providers

          • A  view of your enrollment history

          • A view of deferments sent to lenders

          • Lists of prospective lenders

          • Links to real time Student Loan Information

There are some limitations to what the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) site can provide:

          • You must use Internet Explorer for Student Self-Service; Netscape will not work.

          • An Enrollment Certificate only shows enrollment status such as "Full Time" or "Half Time."
The Certificate does not provide grades or grade point average information.

          • Enrollment certification data is sent to the Clearinghouse by the ACU Registrar's Office
two weeks before each semester.  Enrollment certifications prior to that time may not
             show accurate enrollment status.
