U100 Faculty,

      As you are thinking about the semester in your U100 class, I would like to offer my services to you. One of the assignments for U100, in chapter 10, is for students to take the Typefocus Personality Profile and the CareerLiftoff Interest Inventory. These assessments help your students in several ways. The most commonly considered application of these assessments is to help undecided students settle on a major. But both assessments are very useful to any student for confirming their major and career choice. Students often express to me the relief they feel when an assessment affirms the career path they have already chosen. These assessments also provide insight for students into their unique strengths and weakness. This insight will assist your students as they interact with others and grow in maturity through college and beyond. Unfortunately, these assessments lose most of their effectiveness and value when they are given without follow-up or interpretation. I am available to provide interactive interpretation of both of these assessments for your class. This interpretation can be done in one 50 minute class period.
