Hispanic Heritage Month

ACU annually sponsors this campus wide celebration of Hispanic cultures and heritage.  The month is filled with special events, sponsored by the Office of Student Multicultural Enrichment and Hispanos Unidos student organization. 

On campus, this major event for this month is Entra la Plaza, which is hosted by Hispanos Unidos and sponsored by various businesses around Abilene. Other events are done around campus, such events include speakers, food festivals, video presentations and live performances.  ACU students, faculty and staff also participate in local activities sponsored by the city.
