Ellen Little, M.D.
Dr. Little serves as Medical Director for ACU Health Services and Physician for the clinic itself. Dr. Little comes to ACU from Kampala, Uganda, East Africa, where she served for eight years as a medical missionary. She loves teaching about the intersections between health and faith as well as seeing patients and traveling as extensively as possible.
Prior to living in Africa, she lived in Lubbock, Texas, where she completed her medical school and residency training and briefly worked on staff at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Her undergradaute education was here at Abilene Christian University, where she earned degrees in Spanish and Biology.

John Casada, Ph.D., M.D. Dr. Casada serves as the Psychiatrist for ACU Health Services and Professor for the Psychology Department on ACU Campus. Dr. Casada graduated from ACU in 1984 with a B.S. in General Biology and in '85 with a M.S. in General Biology. He earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience in '92 from UT Houston along with a M.D. also in '92 from UT Houston. He spent his Psychiatric Residency at University of Michigan as well as his post doctoral fellowship studying Posttraumatic Stress disorder. Dr. Casada came to ACU from UT San Antonio where he was a professor in the Department of Psychiatry. He also provided psychiatry services at South Texas Veterans Healthcare Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Casada is Board Certifed by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In 2003, Dr. Casada was listed as one of America's Top Physicians. He was also awarded in 1999 as the Outstanding Teacher in Outpatient Psychiatry. In 1995 he was awarded the Lilly Fellowhsip Award by the Society of Biological Psychiatry. | |

Michelle Drew, MPH, MSN, CNM, FNP-C, RN | |
| Michelle Drew serves as the ACU Health Services Family Nurse practictioner. Michelle comes to ACU from Nashville where she split her time between Vanderbilt University Medical Center and a local faith-based family health center where she practiced as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. In addition to being an advanced practice nurse Michelle has many years of experience as a nurse in many settings including pediatrics, labor and delivery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, trauma and emergency. Michelle obtained her AAS in Nursing from Delaware Technical and Community College; her B.S. in Nursing from Jacksonville University; her M.S.N. from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She also holds a Master's degree of Public Health and Tropical Medicine from Tulane University. She is currently a doctoral student at Texas Women's University expecting to complete her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2011. | |

Julie Danley, R.N. | |
| Julie is one of the excellent R.N.s here at ACU. Julie comes to ACU by way of Washington D.C. where she spent 7 years as a labor and delivery nurse for Prince George County Hospital. Julie began her education at ACU in 1979 originally as an elementary education/special education major. Julie obtained her ADN in 1999 from Prince George County Community College. She has spent many years at Camp WaMaVa during the summer months as a camper and as a counselor. Julie has also enjoyed being a stay at home mom with her four amazing children spending her time volunteering at local schools, and coaching soccer. Upon returning to the Abilene area, Julie worked Labor and Delivery Nursing at Abilene Regional Medical Center before moving back to ACU as a full-time registered nurse for the ACU Health Services Department. | |

Marsha Smith, R.N. | |
| Marsha is another of ACU's excellent RNs. Marsha came to ACU in 2008 after graduating from Angelo State University in 2007 with an AAS in Nursing. After graduating Marsha began her work in Obstetrics and Gynecology at San Angelo Community Medical Center. Before coming to ACU, Marsha was an Operating Room Nurse for Hendrick Medical Center assisting in surgeries for orthopedics, obstetrics, neurology, urology and general day surgery. Marsha also enjoys being a foster animal care provider. She spends her time nursing stray and abandoned animals brought to her by friends and neighbors. Marsha loves living a life serving the people around her and helping in the healing process. She has a real connection with the students here on campus. During her high school years she was a power lifter and participated in a number of sports with a true understanding of the discipline of an athlete and uses her clinical background today to assist campus athletes. | |

| Kathy is currently ACU Health Service's Office Manager. Kathy came to ACU in 2007 with her M.B.A. from University of Phoenix. She has spent the last 17 years in the health care industry. She graduated from Howard Payne University in 1993 with her B.S.B.A. after which she and her husband moved to Abilene. Kathy started at Hendrick Medical Center's Rehab Center. There she assisted the Rehab in gaining JCAHO certification after opening and continued to work with the Inpatient Directors of Nursing and Therapies in the administrative aspects of inpatient care. Kathy has also held the position as Director of Mental Health Services at Abilene MHMR (d.b.a. Betty Hardwick Center) where she supervised medical clinic, crisis intervention, admission and hospitalization services maintaining contract compliance with state and federal offices as well as budget and personnel obligations. Kathy also worked with the local courts and law enforcement agencies coordinating patient care for recently incarcerated individuals. While at the Betty Hardwick Center, Kathy also performed as the local HIPAA - Privacy Officer, HIM Director and Auditor. | |
