Boxing Goals

It is our goal to box your mail the same day it is received and as soon as possible. However, since we will receive an average of 4,600 pieces of incoming mail per day, it does take some time to sort and box the mail.

U.S. Mail

This includes all U.S. Mail except Express Mail. For information on Express Mail, please see the Air Package Services section below.

Fall and Spring Semesters

We pick up our incoming U.S. Mail from the downtown post office Monday through Friday at 8:25 a.m. and begin sorting it at 8:45 a.m. The Postal Service delivers the mail not ready at that time, if any, later in the morning. On Saturdays we follow the same schedule as above.

Holidays

Our boxing goals during the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter holidays and Fall and Spring Breaks are available on Our Hours page and are posted in the mailbox lobby. We are closed on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day and Independence Day.

Ground Package Services

Ground package services includes FedEx Ground, Lone Star Overnight ground services and UPS 3-Day Select, Ground and Standard services. It is our goal within two hours of receipt to have the call notice in your mailbox.

Air Package Services

Air package service includes Express Mail, FedEx Express, Lone Star Overnight air services and UPS air services. It is our goal within one hour of receipt to have the call notice in your mailbox.
