Extra Services Available
The extra services available for international mail are explained below. Some of these services are not available for all classes of mail, and only certain services may be combined on the same mail piece. All services may not be available for all countries. The forms for the extra services are available from us at no charge.
We will return the mailing receipt to the sender after we mail the item. We also maintain a duplicate record of all numbered items: insured mail, recorded delivery, and registered mail.

Express Mail International Insurance
| Description | Provides automatic indemnity coverage of up to $100 at no extra charge for merchandise that is lost, rifled or damaged. Additional insurance may be purchased. |

Insurance
| Description | Provides indemnity coverage up to the limit for the country of destination for a lost, rifled, or damaged article |

Ordinary Indemnity Coverage
| Description | Provides indemnity coverage for a lost, rifled, or damaged article. The maximum value is based on the weight of the package |

Registered Mail
| Description | Provides the most secure service offered by the Postal Service. Insurance is provided and included in the fee up to a maximum value liability determined by the country of destination. Insurance is not available for items with no value |
