Opening or Closing a Mailbox

Department mailbox numbers are assigned by the Mail Services' manager. All mailbox numbers are assigned geographically based on the delivery location. A department changing the location of their mail delivery may have to change their mailbox number.

To open a mailbox or change the mailbox record information, please contact Scott Duncan at duncans@acu.edu or 325-674-2039. The information that goes on each mailbox record is:

• Department name
• Finance or commercial account number for the rent
• Department location (building and room number)
• Department telephone number
• Alternate names for the department (e.g. event names, student organizations, old department names)
