Wiring your signature at delivery, we will send you a yellow Call at Window notice. You must have this call notice to pick up the mail. Note: some U.S. Mail requires that only the recipient pick up the mail and present photo identification to claim the mail.

If you have lost your call notice, you may claim your mail at our window during regular business hours. For your protection, you must present photo identification and we will only give you mail addressed to you.

If the mail is not picked up within a week, we will send you a second call notice.  Thereafter, a reminder call notice will be sent to you once a week until you pick up the mail or your mailbox is closed. Note: Certified mail can only be held 15 days (or less, if requested by the mailer) before being returned to the sender as "Unclaimed."


Departments on Delivery Routes

Mail requiring a signature that will fit in the mail carts, in the judgment of the carrier, will be delivered. All other mail will be delivered some time the same day as it was received.  If for some reason we cannot deliver the mail to you the same day as it was received, we will call you as soon as possible.
