Campus Mail Fees
Campus mail fees may be paid by cash or check at the time of mailing or charged to your department or organization's finance or commercial account number.
The first 100 pieces from official student organizations or 500 pieces from departments, official university organizations or ACU affiliates of a mailing are boxed at no charge. The boxing fee for the pieces over 100 or 500 are based on the dimensions of the mail piece:
|Height up to 5¼ inches and|
Length up to 11 inches
|Height over 5¼ inches or|
Length over 11 inches
Mail pieces that do not fit the acceptable designs and dimensions, as explained in the Mail Piece Design section, will only be boxed at the mail distritubtion supervisor's discretion. If the pieces are boxed, there is a $0.03 per piece nonstandard surcharge for all pieces in addition to the regular boxing fees. If the supervisor does not approve boxing the pieces, they will have to be redesigned and prepared again.
Call Notice Fee
Oversized mail that does not fit in the mailbox is charged $0.75 per piece to have a call notice written. The first 15 oversized pieces of a mailing from departments, official university organizations or ACU affiliates are processed at no charge.
It is the sender's responsibility to have addressed mailings in numerical order by mailbox number. At the mail distribution supervisor's discretion, mailings not in numerical order may be accepted to be sorted and boxed. Sorting the mailing will add several business days to the processing time because the mailing will be sorted after all other incoming, outgoing and campus mail is processed. There is a $0.04 per piece sorting charge for all pieces in addition to the regular boxing fees. If the supervisor does not approve sorting the pieces, the sender must retrieve the mailing and sort the mailing into numerical order by mailbox number.
