Eligibility Information:

    All full-time students who are currently enrolled in ACU and taking a minimum of 12 hours are eligible to participate. (Exceptions will be made for graduating seniors).

    All graduate students who are currently enrolled in ACU are eligible.

    Faculty, staff, and their spouses are eligible to participate in Intramural sports.

    Only approved club sponsors at the beginning of the year are eligible.

    Participants playing for a dorm team must reside in that dorm, and those playing for a club must be an active member of that club and meet eligibility requirements for club.

    The participation on an ineၼligible player will automatically result in the forfeit of that contest.

    Varsity, J.V., and Red-shirts are not eligible to compete in their sport until they sit out one year and have approval from the Intramural Director.

    Each participant's name and ID number must be listed on the roster to be eligible. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit of those games that the individual participated in.

    Restrictions for the number of varsity athletes not in their sport and ex-athletes on a roster will be stated in the Intramural Rules for the specific sport.

    Names can be added to the roster until the first game.

    Participants can play for only one team in any activity. Once a player participates in a contest, his name cannot be withdrawn from the roster unless it involves acceptance into a club during the middle of that activity.

    Transfer students who have participated in a varsity sport may not participate in that sport until approved by the Intramural Director.

    Coaches cannot participate in their sport unless approved by the Intramural Director. Coaches may participate in their sport if the team declares itself a non-playoff team. (Meaning that the team will not play in the post-season tournament).
