Student Employment

1. Do you need a job? Throughout the semester there are many new opportunities that arise for on campus and off campus student jobs.  To look for on-campus and off-campus positions please visit the Career Center website and click on Current Students tab. Here you will be able to view openings and find out how to apply.
   
2. In order for you to get paid you must fill out an I-9 and W-4 form by the end of the day on your first day of work.  You must bring a picture ID, ORIGINAL Social Security Card, and a voided check.  ACU pays students through direct deposit. (find out about banks that offer free checking)  If you do not have your Social Security card in Abilene, you may obtain a temporary one from the Social Security Administration of Abilene.  There is no fee for the temporary card.  We must have your actual card or temporary card; we cannot accept copies or faxes. 
   Other acceptable Identification for I-9's.
