How to get a Student Job at ACU

  1. Do you need a job? Throughout the semester there are many new opportunities that arise for on campus and off campus student jobs.  You can look for on-campus and off-campus jobs by setting up an account on Career Link.
  2. In order for you to get paid you must fill out an I-9 and W-4 form by the end of the day on your first day of work.  You must bring a picture ID, ORIGINAL Social Security Card, and a voided check.  ACU pays students through direct deposit. (find out about banks that offer free checking)  If you do not have your Social Security card in Abilene, you may obtain a temporary one from the Social Security Administration of Abilene.  There is no fee for the temporary card.  We must have your actual card or temporary card; we cannot accept copies or faxes. 
    Other acceptable Identification for I-9's.
