Brian provides support to the University Budget Committee (UBC) and is responsible for ensuring the University’s overall budget is prepared within the guidelines provided by the UBC and the Board of Trustees. He also monitors ACU’s actual financial activitiy during the year when compared to the budget and assists in the preparation of financial forecasts throughout the year. Brian can provide information related to the university’s annual planning and budgeting cycle, financial forecasts and the university’s overall financial results compared to budget. Brian is responsible for the accounting of the university’s fixed assets (equipment, buildings, etc.), functions as the administrator for position budgeting in the central administrative system, and is responsible for maintaining and developing reports for the Finance and HR systems as the Oracle Discoverer Administrator for our office.
Brian graduated from ACU in 1999 with a BBA in Financial Management, Summa Cum Laude. He returned to Southern California, his home, and worked in the office of Financial Planning at Pepperdine University before returning to ACU in June of 2000. He is currently pursuing an MBA at Auburn University.
