Many people choose to make their gift to ACU using a credit card. It is faster, easier, and often provides the donor many perks (like cash back awards or airline miles). ACU accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. You may use your credit card to give online; you may call Sandra Stevens or Diane Best at 325-674-2612 or 888-414-4228 (toll-free) and use your card to make your gift over the phone; or you may print this form and mail it with your credit card gift.
Abilene Christian University also offers an automatic monthly credit card service to make your support of ACU easier and more cost effective. It is a way of supporting your program of choice by using the increasingly popular automatic deduction process.
Perhaps you already pay your monthly mortgage, car payments, insurance premiums and utility bills through automatic deduction. Now your annual gift to ACU can be spread out over 12 donations of $5.00 or more per month.
How It Works
You complete the Monthly Credit Card Authorization Form to authorize Abilene Christian to instruct your credit card company to make gift payments from the account you indicate. Within the next two months, you will begin to see a deducted amount on your monthly account statement. The deduction will continue until you choose to cancel or change the amount of your monthly gift. It's that simple!
Or, if you would prefer, go to our online giving site and set up your monthly, quarterly, or yearly gift online. No paperwork, no hassle! Simply follow the directions on the web page and designate the date you wish your card to be charged each month.
A Gift With Greater Impact
Your annual gift is easier to budget when it's spread over a full year. It also amounts to a gift with greater impact and ensures a record of continuous support.
Your monthly support eliminates most direct mail solicitations. There's less bother for you and less cost to ACU, meaning more of your gift will be used for its intended purpose.
Cost Savings
There are no sign-up costs or monthly fees. In fact, if you choose the online credit card form, you save by eliminating check-writing charges and postage. And if you choose to use a credit card with perks, you earn those from your monthly gift, too!
Complete control
You are in control of your monthly gift. You may cancel or change the amount at any time by calling the ACU Development Office. You will see the automatic deduction on your monthly statement.
