The mission of the ACU Development Office is:

• To help create an understanding of the mission, value, and accomplishments of Abilene Christian University; and
• To secure the necessary support in the form of goodwill and philanthropic dollars to sustain and advance the university.

While a large focus of Development is securing funds for the university, our ultimate goal is to form abiding relationships between ACU and alumni, parents and friends.

Supporting ACU

The staff of the Development Office facilitated the support of our alumni, parents of current and past students, and friends of the university.  We do this in a variety of ways by:

• Organizing programs and services that involve alumni, parents, and friends in giving to ACU
• Obtaining Annual Fund gifts from a large base of constituents
• Obtaining major current gifts for capital and endowment projects
• Assist constituents in planning their estate gifts, primarily for endowment. 

Since its founding in 1906, Abilene Christian University has benefited from the continued sacrificial support of alumni, parents, friends, foundations, and corporations. We are grateful for your financial gifts.  We appreciate your help in recruiting future students.  Most of all, we thank God for your prayers on behalf of this university and the students we serve.
