Kristi (Halfacre) Thaxton is an Annual Giving Officer in the Development office.  She facilitates the financial support of ACU’s alumni and friends in their giving to the Annual Fund.  She also works with the Senior Legacy Program, Faculty/Staff Campaign, and the Golden Anniversary, along with special projects and opportunities on campus.  Kristi began her service to ACU in 1996 and joined the Development team in 2003.

Kristi received her B.B.A. in Business Management from ACU in 1985, and in 1996 she earned her M.Ed. in Elementary Education. She is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, as well as the Christian Stewardship Association.

Kristi and her husband, Kirk Thaxton ('83(, have three children.  She enjoys skiing, travel, being an active member of her church, volunteering in the community and spending time with her family.
