Barbara (Tubbs) Hejl serves as the Director of Stewardship at ACU. She coordinates the establishment and stewardship of endowed scholarships, develops and distributes annual reports on scholarships (endowed and current), and manages all donor recognition programs and ACU gift societies. Barbara also serves on the Alumni and Development Banner System Implementation Team. She began her service to the university in 1990.

Barbara is a member of the ACU Class of 1971, where she studied Business Administration and Education.  She received the ACU Management Excellence and Leadership Award in 1996, the 2007 Oustanding Staff Member of the Year award and is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement.

Barbara and her husband, David Hejl '71, have four children and six grandchildren. She enjoys scrapbooking, reading, quilting, hiking, skiing, and travel.
