Bruce works as the Executive Vice President of The ACU Foundation.  In this capacity, he serves as an administrator of the foundation and works with friends of ACU to establish estate planning and stewardship arrangements to accomplish their personal goals and objectives, including support of ACU.  Bruce began his service to ACU in 2000.

Bruce received his B.S. in Music Education from ACU in 1959 and his M.S. in Educational Administration in 1960.  In 1968, he was awarded his Ph.D. in Secondary Education and Music from Texas Tech University.  Bruce is also a Certified Financial Planner.  He is a member of several organizations including: the National Council for Planned Giving, the Dallas Planned Giving Association, the North Texas Planned Giving Association, and the Abilene Business and Estate Planning Association.

Bruce and his wife, Jane Ann (Rogers) Evans '60, have two children and five grandchildren.  He enjoys music, horsemanship, and being involved in church leadership and ministry.
