The Development Office and staff are members of several professional organizations and uphold the ethical standards of the profession.

Memberships

The Development Office at Abilene Christian University is a member of several professional associations.Those who work in Development are often also individual members of these associations.  The opportunity for further study, training, conferences and literature are available for ACU because of these ties.  Often, our own personnel are asked to teach at seminars hosted by the various associations.  Some of the associations of the ACU Development Office are:

• CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education)

• CSA (The Christian Stewardship Association)

• AFP (The Association of Fundraising Professionals)

Ethical Codes

The Development Office adheres to a code of ethics in all fundraising and related programs at ACU.  The following codes have been adopted by ACU:
