Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP)

(Click for Video Introduction)

Beginning Spring 2010, the University Counseling

Center will offer an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program.  EAP is an alternative approach to traditional therapy utilizing the power and healing connection of horses in an experiential and metaphoric approach.  You can read more about EAP, Why Horses, and the EAGALA organization in the left menu.

EAP may be used for individual, groups, families, and couples.  There are also opportunities for Leadership Training, Team Building for Departments, and parenting, marital/pre-marital workshops.  One important note is this particular model of therapy is 100% on the ground.
