Equine Assisted Counseling (EAC)

A Therapeutic Service for Our Clients

View Video Introduction

Beginning Spring 2010, the University Counseling Center began offering an Equine Assisted Counseling and Learning program. EAC is an alternative approach to traditional therapy utilizing the power and healing connection of horses in an experiential and metaphoric approach. Note: This is not a degree program, but a therapeutic service offered to our clients.

EAC may be used for individual, groups, families, and couples.  There are also opportunities for Leadership Training, Team Building for Departments, and parenting, marital/pre-marital workshops.  One important note is this particular model of therapy is 100% on the ground.
