What is the CCSL?
The Center for Christian Service and Leadership (CCSL) is a critical step in helping students identify both the “what” and the “how” of Christ-centered leadership development. ACU is distinctive in our co-curricular approach to identifying and modeling Christ-centered leadership. Staff members provide inspiration, mentoring, challenge, and support to foster learning and development among student leaders. As an entity of the Student Life division, the CCSL works closely with Student Life personnel in equipping and mentoring student leaders, while also identifying and partnering with other campus entities involved in leadership and service initiatives.
The CCSL seeks to partner with existing curricular leadership initiatives to provide students with a more comprehensive leadership vision and experience, and also collaborates for the development of additional curricular/co-curricular partnerships to involve students in ongoing leadership development across the broad range of disciplines at ACU.
The CCSL has a goal to develop a four-year Christian service and leadership vision to involve students in leadership growth and development while at ACU.
