The Career Center helps you:

Choose a career path that is right for you.  We encourage students to think through their God-given talents, their values and their career aspirations.  We call this our D!scovery program.  Our assistance will not only help you get on a good career path but it will help you choose a major that aligns well with your career path.

Many students have a clear direction from the day they step on the ACU campus.  For these students the Career Center helps you build experience and a contact network.  The idea is to start early with experience and contacts - this will give you an advantage when you start interviewing for your first career opportunity.  We emphasis internships.

As you complete your college course work, projects, and gain experience we will help you capture your achievements in a way that helps you communicate with potential employers.  The Career Center is your source for professional communication and etiquette.  We will help you create a resume that gets noticed.  We will help you interview professionally and effectively.

Make no mistakes about it, competing for top quality graduate schools and career opportunities is very competitive.  The Career Center helps you develop and execute your job or graduate school search.  We help you learn about organizations and careers through VAULT our online career resource.  We connect you to potential employers through on-campus interviews, career fairs and alumni networking via our Careerlink database.
