West Central Texas Career Consortium Employment Expo
The Employment EXPO is the result of the cooperative efforts of ten colleges and universities and Dyess Air Force base which comprise the West Central Texas Career Consortium (WCTCC).
The Employment EXPO is a convenient, cost-effective program which allows employers to consolidate weeks of screening and interviewing into a single day. Employers meet informally and formally with jobseekers, review resumes, and identify candidates for follow-up employment procedures. The event is highly publicized on the campuses and base; and recent graduates also are encouraged to participate.
Candidates who attend the Employment EXPO represent a wide range of academic and military skills such as business management, retail sales, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, CAD-CAM, marketing, human resources, and health occupations.
Other areas of specialization include agriculture, farm and ranch management, horticulture, electronics, hydrology, environmental sciences, social service, criminal justice, and specific programs which prepare candidates for employment in government and non-profit sectors.
Employment EXPO is especially designed for organizations actively seeking prospects for vocational, technical, and/or professional positions. The event is not open to the general public.
