MaryEllen Olson, M.A. MaryEllen joined the Career Center team in January 2011. Prior to coming to ACU, MaryEllen was the Vice President & Co-Owner of O.D. Consulting Company located in the Chicagoland area. She specialized in strategic leadership development and training and development to Fortune 500 companies. As a part of this work, MaryEllen spent thousands of hours coaching people to reach their full potential and to find satisfaction in their job function by aligning their personal values and behaviors with that of the culture of the organization in which they worked. In addition to this, MaryEllen previously served as Dean of Students for three universities in the Chicagoland area. She is a certified/qualified administrator of the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) and the Strong Interest Inventory®. |
Daniel Orozco Daniel joined the ACU Career Center in July of 2008 after spending over 22 years working for the Texas A&M Career Center. As a part of his role at ACU he works with students majoring in Agriculture/Environment Sciences, Biology, all COBA, Chemistry, Communications, English, Exercise Science, JMC, Math, Nursing, Physics, Psychology, and Information Technology. Daniel has been a public school teacher and has served in the US Navy. He has both a Bachelors and Masters degree from Texas A&M. |
Cynthia Cooke Cynthia assists students majoring in Art, Bible, Communication Disorders, Education, Family Studies, Foreign Languages, Gerontology, History, Marriage & Family Therapy, Music, Social Work, Sociology, Theatre and Political Science. She is a certified/qualified administrator of the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator). |
Jill Fortson, PHR Jill came to ACU in 2005 and joined the Career Center team in 2011. As part of her role, she works with both undergraduate and graduate students to connect them with internship opportunities as well as post-graduate employment opportunities. She works to support, strengthen and create employer relationships creating opportunities for our students locally, statewide, nationally, and internationally. Jill is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR®), serves on the Executive Committee of the Big Country Society for Human Resource Management and has a certificate in professional mediation. |
