 Dr. John York is Associate Professor of Bible and Preaching at Lipscomb University, and he serves as one of the Preaching Ministers at Woodmont Hills Church of Christ in Nashville, TN. After earning his B.A, M.A. and M.Div. from Abilene Christian University, he went to earn his Ph.D. from Emory University. Before coming to Lipscomb, Dr. York was in full time ministry in Oregon, Texas and Tennessee and taught for seven years at Columbia Christian College (now Cascade College).
