 Dr. Aquino is an Assistant Professor of Bible and theology in the Graduate School of Theology at Abilene Christian University, Abilene, Texas. He also teaches philosophy and ethics, specializing in the area of religious epistemology. He has published articles in Restoration Quarterly, Downside Review, Newman Studies Journal, and Christian Higher Education. Currently he is engaged in a collaborative project on the logic of canonical theism, scheduled to be published in two volumes (Eerdmans; the second volume will be edited by Aquino, William Abraham, and Jason Vickers). In the 2000-2001 academic year, Dr. Aquino received the Outstanding Faculty of the Year Award in the College of Biblical Studies. He has served as the preaching minister for the Sidney Church of Christ (Sidney, TX), Adult Education Minister for the Preston Road Church of Christ (Dallas, TX), Youth Minister for the Hawley Church of Christ (Hawley, TX), and Editorial Assistant for the Journal of Biblical Literature (Southern Methodist University). Currently, he serves as editor of the Journal for Case Teaching. Dr. Aquino and his wife Michelle have a 4-yr old son, David, and an 11 month old daughter, Elizabeth.
