The Abilene Christian University Alumni Association, staffed by professionals who work on behalf of alumni and friends of the university, is the:
- Owner of alumni records for ACU working to achieve the utmost accuracy of the information while assuring appropriate records security, confidentiality and respecting alumni desires for privacy;
- Connection point for alumni and friends to ACU. Extends alumni association membership to all degree holders, former students, administrators, faculty, staff, currently enrolled students, parents of currently enrolled and former students of ACU;
- Keeper of the traditions of ACU both established and emergent, working to pass them down to succeeding generations of ACU students and alumni;
- Voice of alumni in university affairs, working to accurately represent alumni opinions;
- Provider of quality and relevant programs, services and benefits for alumni and friends of ACU;
- Communicates to alumni on life, work and achievements of ACU, as well as the achievements of the university's alumni and friends through awards programs;
- Identifier of alumni volunteers for ACU.
