
Cats Win!
ACU rallied in the second half Saturday to beat Midwestern State in the first round of the NCAA playoffs, 24-21. Now, the Wildcats travel to Maryville, Mo., this week to take on Northwest Missouri State for the second time this season. (The first game was on national television. ACU won, 19-14.)

After Scott returned a kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown Sunday against Pittsburgh, all three have now scored on kick returns since last December. All three were on the same field Sunday, Oct. 25. The ACU Alumni Relations Office and Alumni Advisory Board presented the Distinguished Alumni Citation to Dr. John C. Crosby ('58) on Sunday, Nov. 8, at the Villanova Conference Center in Radnor, Pa.
More than 100 family members, friends and colleagues were there to honor Crosby for his work as an educator and founding executive director of Uncommon Individual Foundation.
All three former ACU Wildcats currently playing in the NFL took the field in Cincinnati on Sunday, Oct. 25, as Bernard Scott (second from right) and the host Bengals blew out Danieal Manning (third from right), Johnny Knox (second from left) and the Chicago Bears, 45-10.
ACU president Dr. Royce Money (third from left) and athletic director Jared Mosley (far right) watched the game from eight rows up and after the game joined the players on the field for an ACU reunion. Dr. Money and Mosley also met Bears coach Lovie Smith (right foreground), who said Manning and Knox aren't just great players but good men.
