Graduation Celebration

  3 and 4 p.m.
 Moody Coliseum

  Commencement Rehearsal (2 rehearsals)
 Undergraduate students only
 ALL candidates and their escorts are expected to attend.
 Bachelor's candidates: Remember to bring your hood, mortar board and
 escort with you to rehearsal.  You will also receive information about where
 to go for the grand processional during Graduation Celebration.

 Colleges will give departmental awards.

 No event; awards distributed by departments earlier in the semester.

  FREE Graduation Festival and Dinner
 For all graduates, faculty, staff and families.  Dress is casual.

 Bring your camera for photo opportunities with favorite professors,
 Willie the Wildcat, Dr. Royce Money, friends, family and fellow graduates!

 Each college will have a designated tent in which to eat and fellowship with
 classmates and professors.  Graduate students will be with designated college.

  Celebration Entertainment
 After dinner, make your way to the center of campus and enjoy the music of
 Steel Grooves, the steel drum ensemble, and the Big Purple Band.  Seating for
 families and friends will be available on a first-come basis.

  Participants Move to Grand Processional Areas
 See specific information for faculty and graduates regarding details of the
 Grand Processional.

 Faculty will be asked to wear their robes and hoods during this time, no hats.
 Graduates will be asked to wear their robes with casual attire underneath;
 no hood or mortar board.*

  *Special note to graduation candidates
 This is a celebration ... beach balls, bubble guns, silly string and other
 festive items are okay to bring to this event!

 Do not plan to use these items during the Commencement ceremony on Saturday.

 Faculty and graduation candidates will have reserved seating

 Agenda includes:
   Prayer of blessing
   Guest speaker Max Lucado
   Graduation awards, including Mr. and Miss ACU, Board of Trustees awards,
     Honor Man and Honor Woman, the V.W. Kelley Scholarship, Dean Adams
     Achievement Award, recognition of valedictorians, etc.

   After the event, award recipients will have the opportunity to take pictures
   with Dr. Money in the Living Room of the Campus Center.
