Kristi (Halfacre ’85) Thaxton is an exceptional fund officer in the Advancement Office. She facilitates the financial support of ACU’s alumni and friends to the Exceptional Fund. Kristi began her service to ACU in 1996 and joined the Advancement team in 2003.

Kristi received her B.B.A. in business management from ACU, and in 1996 she earned her M.Ed. in elementary education. She is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, as well as the Christian Stewardship Association.

Kristi and her husband, Kirk (’83), have three children. She enjoys skiing, travel, being an active member of her church, volunteering in the community and spending time with her family.
