Barbara (Tubbs ’71) Hejl is the director of stewardship programs at ACU. She coordinates the establishment and stewardship of endowed scholarships, develops and distributes annual reports on all ACU scholarships and manages the university’s donor recognition programs and gift societies. She began her service to the university in 1990.

She received a bachelor’s degree from ACU in business administration and education. She received the ACU Management Excellence and Leadership Award in 1996, the 2007 Outstanding Staff Member of the Year award and is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement.

Barbara and her husband, David Hejl (’71), have four children and six grandchildren. She enjoys scrapbooking, reading, quilting, hiking, skiing, and travel.
