Billie Currey (’70) is director of Advancement strategies, tasked with helping formulate and advance the strategic vision of the Advancement Division, and coordinating and overseeing the efforts of the Advancement support staff. He also represents the vice president of Advancement at meetings and university functions when necessary.

Billie received a B.B.A. from ACU and earned his J.D. from the University of Texas in 1972. He spent many years as a private-practice attorney before coming to ACU in July 2010.

Billie and his wife, Leslie (Gray ’70), have two children and four grandchildren. He enjoys granddadding, golf, fishing, reading and gardening.
