Tuition, Fees and Living Expenses

Conservative Estimate

The cost of living in the U.S. has increased in the past few years. It is difficult to predict exact expenses for students whose habits and taste may differ. Some students spend freely for social life, while others are frugal. The following is a conservative estimate and does not include such expenses as travel to and from one's home country, vacation travel, personal expenses, clothing or the support of additional persons:

* Tuition estimates are based on 30 credit hours for undergraduate students, 24 credit hours for graduate students and 32 credit hours at 1/2 tuition for ESL students. Tuition is currently $717 per credit hour.  Fees are set amounts for various services provided on campus.  Click here to see a detailed breakdown of fees.

The above figures are based on the assumption that you live in a residence hall or in University Park Apartments and eat in the cafeteria. (Single undergraduate students with less than 60 semester hours of credit are required to live on campus unless they are 21 years of age or older. Those who have completed at least 60 semester hours have the option of living off campus if they prefer.)

Costs may increase if you live off campus and pay utilities, buy food, etc. Summer school attendance is optional. Regardless of whether you are in school, you must be concerned with expenses for room, board, personal expenses, etc.

NOTE: It is important to understand that tuition increases each year and that living and insurance expenses will increase each year as well.

Payment of Accounts

Your account for tuition and fees, room, board and other expenses due to the university must be paid in full for the entire semester at the time of enrollment. For an additional fee, a payment plan may be arranged.

A detailed explanation of how to pay your school bill as well as how to set up a payment plan can be found here.
