Before your arrival to Abilene, you must get a meningococcal vaccination and submit your Student Immunization Form. This form or a copy of your immunization record can be submitted by fax (+1-325-674-6792), email (international@admissions.acu.edu) or by mail:

An official record includes the day, month and year of the vaccination and 1) is signed or stamped by a physician or physician's designee, or 2) is an immunization record from a public health authority, either state or local, or 3) is an immunization record from a school official.

The Texas legislature recently passed a law that affects all new college students, regardless of their state of residency, requiring immunization against bacterial meningitis at least 10 days prior to moving into on-campus housing.

The meningococcal vaccine is readily available, and you may have already received the vaccine. If you have not received a meningococcal vaccination, we highly suggest that you do so at least one month prior to beginning your college career.
