Athletics:  ACU has earned the fourth most all-time NCAA team championships, behind UCLA, Stanford and USC.

ACU participates in the NCAA Division II Lone Star Conference; football, men's & women's basketball, baseball, men's golf, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field, women's volleyball, men's and women's tennis, women's softball, and women's soccer.

 

ACU is an annual contender for the Learfield Directors' Cup, recognizing the best all-around sports program in NCAA Division II.
