Why I Chose ACU:
I wanted to come to a college where I could get to know people and people could know me. I didn't want to get lost in a thousand faces everyday on my way to class. ACU had the right combination of academic accreditation and small size to be a great fit for me academically. Spiritually speaking, after I attended several camps here in highschool and visited campus at other times and experienced the variety of worship experiences here, I knew this was the right place for me, and I haven't regretted it since. I have family history here at ACU but I wanted to make my own path in college. I like that, here at ACU, I am able to remember my roots and yet also continue forward as a student in this 21st century.
My Favorite ACU Experience:
Probably Sing Song, its such a rush to have worked so hard for a month or more with a group of individuals and then to feel the energy when you step onto the stage and hear the crowd cheering. Everyone at ACU needs to experience that at least one time. Getting involved with some volunteer service projects has also been really fun, from counting and packing up medicine with some of my friends to send to Africa to getting involved for a semester with a Boys and Girls club, it can be a fun and rewarding experience. Being involved with my social club and doing things with them has been a good experience for me, too.
