Eric grew up in Saint Louis, Missouri, and graduated from Parkway West High School in Ballwin, Missouri, in 2004. He set out to become the first high school graduate in his immediate family to enroll in a higher education institution. After receiving acceptance to six universities, Eric visited all of his prospective schools and prayerfully decided to attend ACU in the fall of 2004.

"After visiting ACU, I knew this was the place for me," said Eric. "I never thought I would leave Missouri. I never thought I would attend a private university, and I never thought I would choose a Christian school. But God knew I needed ACU, and He led me here." After attending his first semester at ACU as a freshman, Eric decided to put on Christ through baptism and becoming a Christian. "Getting baptized was a simple decision for me because Jesus gave His all for me, so the least that I could do was to give my all to Him."

Eric is planning to graduate from ACU in the summer of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.
