Scholarships for Minorities from ACU

HLC/ACU Partnership Scholarship

Who Provides an award for Hispanic students in the Abilene area selected by the Hispanic Leadership Council Scholarship Committee and Funded by Abilene Christian University.

Southwestern Christian College Award 

Who Provides an award to undergraduates with an Associate Degree from Southwestern  Christian College and who demonstrate the desire and ability to excel academically.

LULAC Scholarship

Who The League of United Latin American Citizens LULAC offers scholarships for Hispanic high school students through its educational counterpart, the LULAC National Educational Service Centers, Inc.

Who Scholarship for Hispanic students from Abilene and West Texas.

Who CHCI’s educational services are designed to provide Hispanic students with the tools and resources they need to succeed in attaining a higher education through college scholarships.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund

Who The High School Scholarship Program is designed to assist high school students of Hispanic heritage obtain a college degree. It is available to graduating high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time at a community college or four-year institution during the upcoming academic year.

Hispanic Heritage Youth Scholarship

Who The Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards scholarship program was founded in 1998 to identify and promote the next generation of hispanic role models by rewarding their accomplishments in the classroom and community with educational grants and putting them in a position from which to lead.

Scholarships for African American Students

United Negro Fund Scholarship

Who Since 1985, the UNCF Scholarships and Grants Administration office has awarded in scholarship assistance over $105 million to over 28,000 students enrolled in its 39 member colleges and universities and other HBCUs and majority institutions as well. We provide support in numerous ways to a variety of constituencies.

The Ron Brown Scholarship Program

Who A national scholarship benefiting academically-talented, highly motivated African American high school seniors who have demonstrated financial need, social commitment, and leadership potential.

Other Scholarships for Minority Students

The Gates Millennium Scholarship Program

Who Funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, this scholarship was established to provide outstanding low income minority students with an opportunity to complete an undergraduate college education in any discipline area of interest.

Education is Freedom National Scholarship

Who Provides college scholarships to high school seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Geographic location will be considered in the selection of recipients to insure a broad distribution of awards to all states represented in the applicant pool provided there are qualified applicants.
