Real-World Experience
  • Genesis Networks Solutions, a software testing company in Abilene, is partially owned by ACU. The partnership allows ACU to collaborate with technology leaders worldwide, and students have opportunities for Full- or part-time jobs during school and after graduation.
  • Students are encouraged to be constantly involved with research and exploration into the field of technology. Current endeavors include developing educational applications for the iPhone.
Exceptional Degrees
  • The SITC curriculum is market- and industry-driven, rather than simply having a basic technology focus.
  • $200,000 in scholarships were awarded to the 2007 entering class.
  • A cooperative, 150-hour accelerated bachelor's and master's degree program is available through Texas Tech University in Abilene.
Faculty Who Make the Difference
  • All faculty members are engaged in research and discovery at some level, but the primary responsibility of each professor is to educate students and endow them with the skills they need to establish a career or pursue additional studies.
  • ACU has been a member of the SAP University Alliance since 2003. The SAP University Alliance program provides faculty with tools and resources to teach students how technology can enable integrated business processes and strategic thinking.
  • Almost all faculty members have doctoral degrees and have received their training at top universities.
