Jennifer Poland ('03) has had to learn some new skills, but she has no doubts about her preparation to move from Abilene to a marketing job in Manhattan, N.Y., with Harte-Hanks.
She earned a head start on her career when she interned at a bond-rating agency in New York City.
In her office on Union Square off 5th Avenue, she serves as a data analyst, gathering information and preparing reports that help clients understand more about sales, visits to Web sites and customer satisfaction. Her research helps give feedback to clients on how well their marketing is working.
"I love my job, and I love New York City," Poland says.
