1. Why do we prefer that parents not attend?
ACU Bound is designed to be a unique time for you to meet and bond with other potential ACU students, and to get a feel for what college is “really like” at ACU. We love our parents and know choosing a college is many times a family decision; however, due to limited space, we prefer that families send their student only, so that we may accommodate as many future Wildcats as possible in this experience.
If your parents want to accompany you to our campus, please check out other visit days at acu.edu/visit.
2. Who will be supervising the students during ACU Bound?
Students will be supervised by ACU Bound staff, including counselors who spend the nights in the residence hall with the students. ACU has an on-campus medical clinic in case of emergencies.
3. How does transportation work during ACU Bound?
The cost of ground transportation during ACU Bound is covered in your registration fee. ACU Bound vehicles will transport you between all activities, including the travel to and from the Houston area via charter bus.
4. How do the accommodations work?
ACU will make all of the sleeping arrangements for the ACU Bound students. Students will spend Sunday night in residence halls on the ACU campus. Students must bring their own bedding and towels for the residence hall.
