All students are required to submit a Student Immunization Form before they may begin classes at ACU.

In addition to traditional vaccinations, such as the MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella), the state of Texas requires all new college students who plan to live on campus, regardless of their state of residency, to be immunized against bacterial meningitis at least 10 days prior to moving into on-campus housing.

The meningococcal vaccine is readily available, and you may have already received the vaccine. If you have not received a meningococcal vaccination, it is imperative that you do so at least one month prior to beginning your college career.

You must provide proof of immunization via the Student Immunization Form or an official immunization record. An official record includes the day, month and year of the vaccination and 1) is signed or stamped by a physician or physician's designee, or 2) is an immunization record from a public health authority, either state or local, or 3) is an immunization record from a school official.
