Ron Hadfield Ron Hadfield serves as editor and graphic designer for ACU Today in addition to his role as ACU's director of creative services. A native of Dearborn Heights, Mich., Hadfield received an A.A. (1976) from Rochester College in Rochester, Mich., and a B.A. in journalism from ACU (1979). He played collegiate baseball, was editor of ACU's The Optimist newspaper from 1977-79, and winner of the Wendell H. Bedichek award from 1978-79 as the top journalism student at ACU. Hadfield joined the ACU staff in 1983 after working as a production supervisor for American Center Studios Inc. in Southfield, Mich. Since 1983, he and his Creative Services staff at ACU have won 243 awards from the American Advertising Federation and 63 awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). In 2003 and 1998, he was a national finalist in film/videotape for a Telly Award. He is married to Pam and they have a son, Tanner.
