- Assessment of learning styles
- Assessment of study habits
- Individualized tutoring
- Counseling for academic success
- Disability accommodations
- Study skills instruction
- Assistance in applying for financial aid
- Assistance with career planning
- Opportunities to attend cultural events
- Scholarship opportunities
Success Statistics
- More than 1,450 students served since 1987.
- More than 600 students graduated by May 2004.

Student Achievements
- Incoming students participated in an assessment of their technology
skills; assistance was provided where skill improvement was needed.
- The average GPA of Alpha students in fall 2003 was 2.53.
- Forty-two participants graduated in August or December 2003 or were scheduled to graduate in May 2004.
- _______ new students entered in the program during the 2005-06 school year.
