Who Qualifies for Alpha Scholars Program?

Student Support Services

Enrollment in this federally funded program is limited to undergraduates who meet one or more of the following criteria. 

• A first-generation college student (parents or guardian did not graduate from a four-year college or university)
• Economically qualified (guidelines set annually by the U.S. Department of Education)
• A student with a disability  (a physical or learning disability that requires accommodation in instructional a assessment methods)

In addition to meeting one or more of these criteria, you must demonstrate a need for academic assistance.

Student Disability Services

Any student with a disability (physical or psychological) who has a documented need for classroom accommodations is eligible to receive services through SDS.
