1. I have access to a computer and the Internet.

3. Typing is not an overwhelming taskfor me.
4. Reading is not a major struggle for me.

1. The words "software download" do not send me into a total panic.
2. Exploring new things is appealling to me.
3. I am not terrified to ask questions.
4. I do not try hard to avoid conversation with others.
5. I do not have a problem working independently.
6. I can make approximately 10 -15 hours available for study each week.
7. I once read a book to learn how to do something.
8. Being at the computer cannot be mistaken as a form of torture.
9. I am NOT considering an online course because I think the work will be easier than in a "real" class.

1. Having the freedom to choose when I attend class and study is how I like to work.
2. Commuting is not my recreation of choice.
3. In the past, I have had trouble fitting a class into my schedule.
4. I like exchanging ideas and the sometimes-lively give-and-take of a typical classroom experience.
5. Direct and personal instructor feedback is something I value and benefit from.
6. Going to class in my pajamas sounds like fun!

1. After leaving a discussion, I sometimes think of something I should have said.
2. Sometimes I can take the time to organize my thoughts better when I write than when I talk.
3. Having classmates from all over the country and around the world is a wonderful educational opportunity in itself.
4. Sometimes my best answers to questions in class were the ones I thought of just after the one I gave.
