Cabo Polonio

ACU students travel by dune buggy to the beautifully isolated beach town of Cabo Polonio for a day of ocean-side tranquility.

Futbol

ACU students attend a futbol game in Uruguay with friends from the El Chana youth group. Everyone is decked out in "celeste" (sky blue) to show their team spirit.

Blarney, Ireland

From Blarney Castle to the lush green countryside, ACU students get a taste of the Emerald Ilse.

La Casa ACU

Students spend much of their time making Casa ACU a home. Playing guitar in the loft, volleyball in the courtyard, and spending a ton of time in the kitchen is always great, but nothing beats a mate (Uruguyan tea) and good friends on a tanquilo Uruguyan afternoon in La Casa.

La Mano

ACU students enjoy a trip to the beach at Punta del Este and take pictures of the iconic landmark "La Mano" (meaning The Hand).  

London

From Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey, ACU students experience the sights and sounds of London, England.

Peru

ACU students use their Spring Break week of independent travel to make their way through Cuzco and Machu Pichu, Peru. Climbing mountains, paragliding, and exploring new lands makes for one unforgettable time.

Rome

Study Abroad students get a firsthand look at art, culture and much more on an excursion to the beautiful city of Rome, Italy.

Taxi Ride

ACU students laugh and sing a Uruguayan song they learned in Spanish class with one of the characteristically friendly Uruguayan cab drivers. Whether it's speed, navigation or singing, taxi rides in Uruguay are always a memorable time.

Carnival in Uruguay

ACU students who study in the spring semester attend the traditional Uruguayan Carnival. Everything from floats to competitive percussion performances make Carnival a distinctly Uruguayan experience.

Venice

A gondola ride down the canal is a must for students as they tour the famous city of Venice, Italy.
