ACU on the Reservation
Newton Old Crow |
Summer Internship Program
Imagine sitting around a campfire with your closest friends, gazing up into the wide Montana sky at the millions of twinkling stars after a long day of branding cattle or cutting trees for teepee poles. That's just one of the many experiences that the Crow Reservation summer interns experience.
The ACU Crow Reservation summer internship program offers students a chance to experience Crow life for themselves. For four months, interns will gain valuable insight into the Crow community by living with and working alongside them. They also have the opportunity to serve as mentors to the Crow youth.
Admissions Criteria
To be eligible to participate in the Crow summer internship program, you must meet the following requirements:
Any major can apply
Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors only (graduating seniors are not eligible)
Summer Classes
Interns have the opportunity to take classes at Little Big Horn College, located on the reservation, during their stay. You can locate more information on their course offerings, schedules, and tuition rates here.
Financial Aid
Interns are given a stipend that covers travel, meal, and living expenses. Any additional expenses incurred during your stay will not be assumed by the program.
