Social Work Students Present Research Findings To CitySquare

Under the direction of Dr. Wayne Paris, ACU MSSW Program Director, eight graduate students in the School of Social Work spent the 2012-2013 school year evaluating the effectiveness of Dallas-based CitySquare’s case management database technology. The students presented their findings in June to several CitySquare administrators, including the Vice President of Program Administration, Director of Neighbor Support Services, case managers and other CitySquare staff. The CitySquare staff formally accepted the findings, and agreed to their submission for professional publication.

One of the students involved in this initial study will be conducting further research regarding follow up assessments of individuals who have received case management services from CitySquare as part of student’s graduate thesis requirement.
